Not a very recent shot tonight. While sorting my archives, I came across this photo of Calypso, taken at the beginning of an evening near Pier 66, just after the latest FLIBS.
Calypso is a vintage Feadship… and many of us love these classic yachts. Simple, elegant, and timeless. She is a 38m De Voogt design, delivered in 1978 as The Highlander, the fourth yacht in the series built for the famous Malcolm Forbes.
Her original design has been carefully maintained and respected by her successive owners, seven in 48 years of service. This more recent dark hull colour suits her particularly well and really enhances her profile.
She is for sale for a few months now, waiting for her eighth lucky owner.
